But we really do not want to collect any personal information at all about users. For this reason, we spent years coming up with a system to achieve this goal: Human Web. We wrote at length about its implementation on our tech blog [2] as well as the network anonymization layer that we built to ensure anonymity at the network level [3] (HPN).
